Situated in a prime position in Cape Town, Ellerman House has wonderful views over Bantry Bay and retains a fascinating historic charm. A swish 1915 Edwardian mansion commands its space overlooking the expansive Ocean at the tip of the African continent.

The terraced gardens at the back of the mansion ooze charm and class, and all of Ellerman House’s rooms have a private balcony looking out to the Ocean. There is also a very modern stylish villa next door which has 4 suites.

Ellerman House is without doubt one of the finest places to stay in the greater Cape Town area, and makes a superb base from which to explore by day and return to in the late afternoon to watch the sun sink over the frigid Ocean waters.

There is a private collection of art with a significant reputation, the staff know their wines as well as any connoisseur, and the fine dining is of the highest quality in Africa. Ellerman is more of an experience in itself than simply a base from which to explore Cape Town and the beaches.
