Boulders Camp Located in the remote southern part of the Namibrand reserve, one of the most striking landscapes on the continent, Boulders is the epitome of pristine luxury. Quite possibly the prettiest desert scenery in the world it is difficult to take your eyes off the constantly evolving colours and light. The scarlet red dunes, boulder fields and scattered desert wildlife spread out over the parched grasslands form a remarkable setting. The black granite mountains create an imposing, almost other-worldly backdrop to the sweeping valleys. The wildlife here feels truly wild here due to the space it has to roam over, and the caves and boulders hide leopards from the unusual prey targets of passing ostrich or oryx. Recently an exciting project released cheetah back into the reserve, so they are out there somewhere, prowling the savannah plains. There are just sumptuous rooms making this a perfect hideaway for those looking for intimacy. The ability to just drive in any direction and find incredible spectacles is enchanting and the region is just perfectly set up for scenic sundowners and bush meals at endless, incredible spots.
