Loisaba Koija Starbeds The Loisaba Koija Starbeds Camp is situated in the northern part of the Laikipia region in north-central Kenya. Loisaba itself is a huge area of private land which has been left to re-wild itself, watered by the pretty Ewaso Njiro River. In a wonderful setting this little camp has just three rooms which can be rolled out onto the decking so that guests can sleep under the stars and listen to the African night. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and will try to roll the beds back under cover without waking you if rain arrives during the night. Activities from here include vehicle safaris, walking safaris, camel treks, mountain biking and ballooning. This camp can be used as an excellent base from which to fly into the northern Kenya wilderness by private charter flight and works very well for a few nights on honeymoon, due to its small and intimate nature.
